I just received a leather bound edition of Huckleberry Finn. Its considered to be the greatest American classic. I am so eager to start flipping the pages but not yet. Incidentally I start reading a bit more about Mark Twain who is the author of the book, whose real name is Samuel Langhorne Clemens. Born in 1835, Mark Twain is considered to be the most famous literary figure lived in United States ever. Recently Time Magazine had run a cover story about him. His novels mostly revealed the frontier experiences along the Mississippi river. Never had a chance to read any of his novels before, I am hoping that this Novel will open the doors to an unknown vista for me…!!

Windows 7 features
Windows 7 is going to be a huge success. From my first hand experience this is by far the best OS released by Microsoft. Its simple yet powerful. Finally MS got it right…
Vonage game..
I have a huge stake in Vonage Holding corporation…They have released results and the pre-market is crashing…it will be interesting to see how this will play out today….

one year old....
I knew I have to write some thing in April, because it was this month last year this journey started. A full year and just over a handful of budding leaves in this tree, this page is still a special place for me; especially because it reflects some of the pristine moments my mind indulged and enjoyed. For me, It’s not really the subject that makes the point, but the process. Only in those fine moments you will get that urge to express your mind and you can pen down something. And those moments are not plenty. I know you could blabber about any thing under the sun here but I knew that’s just not what I wanted to do. I could be careless about what I am writing about, but I do want to write only in those fine moments. That makes the difference. May be my prayers then be I could go in to those divine moments more frequently and more easily at will, because I am sure when your mind is pure you can realize the genuine desires you cherish.

Adieu fall; welcome winter..
As the best time of the year is passing by, we all get ready to welcome another winter. Ahh..winter, that time of the year when you have snow white mornings and chilling windy evenings..but yet I like this season for its just plainness. Its just like you have a bad friend whom you cant despise for he is your friend. I wish the time this season grips in its cold fist to have a small span giving away a little more for the summer and autumn. but that's just my wish..I know you couldn't be careless more..In a way all in the neighbourhood get ready for this time of the year. One got to live in the seasonal world to know how much we cherish each moments of summer and autumn. The sun couldn't be enjoyed any more than we do..the scenic beauty of the inner roads and all those falling leaves in fall are a life times worth of sights..yet year after year nature brings us the feast of your eyes. Let me bid farewell to the most enjoyed time of another year while welcoming another winter..life goes on..

about Jack Welch...
Over a period of time, I have been so addicted to Jack Welch and his books. My first stint with him started when I was working with Infosys Mangalore, I casually pulled out his auto biography "Straight from the gut" without any expectations..I have this habit of random polling the pages right before I decide to take a book, I remember I was enchanted by the GE politics mentioned in one of the middle pages and decided to take it..Amazingly, the book was a gripping one and couldn't put it down before I complete in one streach. It has since changed my life and my attitudes for ever. I have then searched for most of his books (written about him or by him) and Winning became my addiction too..First thing I did when I came US was to buy all two books and keep it with me for ever. I knew I had little in common with Jack. I think I am on the other shore with him personally, but I guess he has lived a real American Dream. Starting from the lower middle class family to the top of GE, his life and thoughts 're always revolutionary. I think his fanatic beliefe of meritocracy and I believe that's what I found in common with him..His arguments are undeniable. I think this is just one book all you need for all the management wisdom. You just couldn't believe how one guy epitomised the beauty of managing people and business. Its a must have in every one's bookshelf....
